Listing/Exclusion and Product Proposal

Hi,

The priority while creating an order is Product Proposal and then Listing/Exclusion.

At present, materials that are not a part of listing list are getting proposed due to Product Proposal.

And the order gets saved even though material is not a part of Listing List.

Is there a feasibility where Listing/Exclusion list is checked dynamically even though products are proposed due to Product Proposal.

OR

Is there a way that only Listed products are proposed?

Any pointers regarding this would be helpful

Hi

As per my knowledge.....there should not be any relation between the product proposal and Listing/Exclusion issue. Product proposal is a tool for fast entry of orders. Whether the materials are entered manually or using Product proposal, it is immaterial. When the material is entered, first the Material determination activity happens and then Listing and Exclusion.

In your case, please check whether the Records are maintained properly or not. Input the same materials manually instead of through product proposal and check whether Listing and Exclusion is happening or not.

Hi there,

When you maintain the product proposal for the customer, itmeans that the items will automatically called when order is logged.

You either maintain the prodict proposal or listing / exclusion. Not both. By default product proosal takes importance in oirder entry.

Just for clarity, why do you maintain the product proposal to the customer & then not select that in the order?

You can always delete the line item that are not required in the order. So if your case is specific for 1or 2 times, then delete the materials manually in the order.

However, we have activated Product Proposal so that frequently ordered items from the customer are populated. But now we want to restrict customers from ordering for all materials due to legal requirement.

So I would like to know if there is a way to activate Listing even though Product Proposal has a priority.

Pl note we would not like to deactivate Product Proposal

Hi there,

If as per the legal requirement you donot want the customers to order certain goods, then change the product proposal.

Then those restricted items will not come into the order.

Please try this SPRO > Sales and Distribution > Basic function > Dynamic product Proposal > Define product proposal procedure and determine Acc SQ > maintain B ( listing ) in the source indicator

Products get proposed historically and is not maintained anywhere. We do not want to change this historical setting as well.

At present the source is History. If we change it to Listing, products do not get proposed at all !!!
