Dear All,

My client material Unit of Measurement in MT and also KG i.e.,Powder

My Question is when goods is transfer from one place is another place they will loss material some kgs.

eg., one plant to another plant material has transfer 1 MT.

when they kept or change one storage location to another storage location or what ever the material has lossed in one kg.

we can adujust that quantity but how to adujust duty means rg23d.

could any body suggest.

Maintain Unit of Measurement conversion in Material Master --> Additional Data.

Dear Rajesh Thanks for you replay,

here my question is loss of stock.

eg., i transfer stock 100 kg that is powder. to one depot. in trasportation dispaches the stock has came 95 kg's. i need to adjust stock 100 - 95 it can possible but what about duty on this.

The receiving plant should do MIGO only for 95 kgs and accordingly, duty credit can be availed only for 95 kgs. The loss in difference of duty has to be absorbed by the sending plant. This is the Excise rule.

Of course, this is exempted in case of Industries like Oil, Gas and Petroleum products.

the problem is came when received depot that time 100 but when depot will sale or sto at that time material quantity wll less kg. in this situation what we do

Identify the amount of Loss of Excise Duty manually and make an adjustment posting in Excise JV, T.Code being J1IH.
