return proesss through sales order qty

Hi all

My client has requirement in return it could process through reference to sales order

but but problem is system capture only sales order quantity not more than that sales order quantity how to configure this in sap

It will ideally copy only Sales Order Quantity and not more, but it is a white field and quantity can be modified. It will give a warning message, which can be overlooked.

Hi there,

When you refer return from another doc, it will copy the quantity as well.

But the quantity field is modifible. It will not be greyed out. But pls note that when you enter more quantity than in the referencing doc, system will throw a warning essage.

Hi

You can configure it through copy ctrol between the doc. At item level in copy contrl there is reference qty. you can configure what quantity u want in your return document. As Rajesh said right you can amend the quantity in ur return document.
