Dear Friends,

When i am selecting the "Integration Repository" from the home page, i am getting a pop up error message with heading "JAVA Web Start - Download Error" and message "Unable to launch Enterprise Services Repository".

I have contacted the basis team even they could not resolve the problem. My Java version is 1.4.

Thanks

Prem

Java version has to be 1.5 if you are working with PI 7.1

install JDK 1.5 and it will work

Hi Prem

There can be two problems:

1. U need to install the latest version of jdk...probably 1.6. If u r already having that version...ask the BASIS team to de- install it and install it once again..I hope this will solve the problem

2.Please check the proxy settings of Internet Explorer.

Take care of these two points..I am sure u will get rid of the problem

Regards

Azahar

Hi Prem,

Very recently I had faced the same issue.

There might be a possibility that jdk had not got installed properly.

It worked for me by just uninstalling and then reinstalling it again.

This blog would be of help:

Hi Prem,

The reason for this could be "Corrupted JAR file at http://<hostname>:port/rep/repository/aii_ibrep_client.jar".

Check this and redeploy aii_ibrep_client.jar.

Hi,

This is due to proxy setting.

Check the proxy settings in Internet Explorer under Tools ---> Internet Option ---> Connection -

> LAN Settings.

Match this setting with other colleagues thoes who are having no issue with connection.

If the latest Java Web Start is installed and proxy LAN settings in IExplorer is also in tune with neighbouring machine then please check the version of the IExplorer. It should be less than 7.0

Just Try out all these steps and if the problem persists then the basis guy can help you.
