Language Installation

Hi Everyone,

I need to install the indian Languages in ECC 6.0 with oracle and OS as HP UX 11.1.

Where can i find the language Packages for Indian Languages in the SMP. I could not able to figure out the Language package CD.

I gone through some of the questions posted in the forums, i got some basic information about the language installation.

Please Provide me steps to install the Languages.

Installations and Upgrades -> Entry by application group-> SAP NetWeaver-> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP NETWEAVER 7.0

then select DB & OS

But we required to install the Local languages of INDIA.. is there any Packages for this. I have checked this already but couldnt able to find the INDIAN Languages.

Please help me in this regard.

Hi,

As per the Note 920085 - Additional languages for countries without SAP translation

India

SAP does not provide a translation for local languages spoken in India.

English is still mostly used.

Recommendation:

- Setup a technical language environment for Hindi, Tamil and

other scripts in India up from mySAP ERP 2004 / Web AS 6.40 UNICODE

- SAP involvement necessary for setup

- Unicode only

- You can do own translation, use the language logistics tools and

setup printing
