need help in implementing a note

Gurus ,

i need your help in implemnting the SAP NOTE

"873422 - Error when sending an e-mail"

I am not suer how to proceed to implement the correction speified in that note .

it would be of great help if any body can explain me in brief to implement atleast one correction in that note

Hi Susin,

The first thing for Note 873422,

"You have created e-mails from Audit Management. The system automatically attaches a link to the display of the audit object being sent. When you send an e-mail via SAPconnect, the following error occurs: XS 829 Internal error: SO_OBJECT_MIME_GET Exception: 2."

Are you getting this symptom in your system? and you want to apply the correction??

After applying the correction, if the prerequisite mentioned in note 530932 is not met during sending mail.. then

simply the link will not be attached. but mail will be sent.

you have to apply the correction of the note using SNOTE or manually apply note by download/upload.

I already tried implementing this note through SNOTE . but it said it could not implement it .

my question how to apply the corrections in that note manually .

because when i click the corrections it just displays as ,

Program ID Object Type Object Name Program ID Object Type Object Name

LIMU FUNC CREATE_URL_ITS_SERVICE R3TR FUGR URL_GENERATION

LIMU FUNC CREATE_URL_MIME_OBJECT R3TR FUGR URL_GENERATION

i dont know exactly how to implement them manually

what is the object name , does it implies function name / program name ?

Hi

When u are applying the note manually:

Program ID LIMU

Object Type FUNC

Object Name CREATE_URL_ITS_SERVICE ( this would be the object that would be changed)

Program ID R3TR

Object Type FUGR

Object Name URL_GENERATION ( this would be the object that would be changed)

So always when u want to apply the note manually, check the Object name.

The other entries are required for searching the Objects.

Use T-Code SNOTE to implement this note. (download of this note via SNOTE will happen only if you have OSS connection and maintained RFC SAPOSS)
