Dear Rajesh,

I donot think you can solve this problem by changing data view. Because whatever your data view, past demands will always appear as supply shortages or will consume the available stock.

Heuristic can not take care of this. You have to remove past requirements by either deleting superior planned orders or stopping sales orders or deleting forecast or teco the production orders.

SNP optimiser however will only consider demands within the data view.

You can control is from 2 ways, first from planning Book defination , planning bucket buckets profile(TB profile) that you defined in the planning book as its horizon for planning.

The start of the planning horizon is also governed by the settings in the

planning book see below explaination (/SAPAPO/SDP8B ).

Or if you dont wants to change in planning book , can define in /SAPAPO/SNP01 - In the Planning Horizon in Days field, you can choose a planning horizon that is shorter than that of the planning buckets profile.

SAP explaination :

"Planning Start Date:

Future Planning Horizon: "Planning Start Date" Field

If you do not enter a date here, the future planning horizon (the

horizon defined in the TB profile ID (future) field) starts from the

system date (or the date entered for background processing through the

PDATE user exit) plus an offset that you enter in the Offset field.

If you do enter a date, the future planning horizon starts from this set

date (plus the offset, if applicable). Note that rolling planning is not

possible in this instance.

Past Planning Horizon: "Visible From" Field

Enter the date as of which you wish the past planning horizon to be

visible when this data view is opened.

Past Planning Horizon: "Input From" Field

Enter the date as of which you wish the past planning horizon to be

changeable."

Plz chk in Planning book that whether it is containing past horizon for planning.

Path: Advanced Planning and Optimization --> Supply Network Planning --> Environment --> Current Settings --> Define Planning Book

For you Planning book in edit mode chk in Data view tab what plannig bucket profile is set for past horizon and also chk Planning start date.
