Change destination storage during putaway

Folks,

I would need to be able to change the destination storage bin during putaway. I;ve set the indicator in the storage type, however, I am not able to change the destination bin. Any suggestions?

Hi,

I had similar problem (I do not exactly remember how it was solved). It was connected to inventory.

Please check in SE16N affected bin (table LAGP). Do you have following fields filled:

KZINV

IDATU

IVNUM

IVPOS?

Can you display IVNUM in LI03 (is it really physical document)?

If not change inventory type in SPRO>Logistics Execution>Warehouse Management>Activities>Physical Inventory-->Define Types per Storage Type.

Hi,

Thanks again. The inventory number has no real inventory document in LI03. What should be changed in suggested customizing? For the storage type, the current settings are:

MBC 001 ST High Rack Storage

Only Continuous inventory upon placement into stock is checked:

Use

If stock is placed into an empty storage bin, inventory should be taken

at the bin.

Hi,

unchecked this field, please.

I have inventory method ST set.

Please, test it for new created storage bin (at least two times; first confirmation is always OK).

I do not remember exactly how the system behave in case of "old" storage bin.

Are you speaking about destination bin change during confirmation? If yes, this sceanrio is not allowed in certain cases (e.g. WM inventory).

it was exactly what I read when I have this problem:

"No destination bin can be entered during confirmation for

dynamic coordinates

transfer orders with return subitems

Lean WM (if the destination bin is defined in the movement type)

posting change TOs

inventory based on putaway

additions to existing stock in storage units

stock removal from or putaway into bulk storage

two-step confirmation

transaction Confirm single item

the case where you are using a putaway strategy

all other items in a TO with storage units, if you have already confirmed the first item for the storage unit. The system changes the destination storage bin for all dependent items during confirmation of the first item.

As I wrote Continuous inventory upon placement into stock indicator must be unchecked.
