Hi Everybody,
During PGI no material documents are generated, and it is going for Short Dump.
What could be the reason?
Regards,
Surya
Hi,
This can be due to the following reason:
1) The abapper might be using some field in som of the program. This creates the problem and gives you short dump.
Regards
Gaurav

Dear Surya
Check with ABAPer and debug the error. It could be due number range assignments also.
thanks

Exactly Laxmipathi, it is due to number ranges of accounting document.
This error is occuring for only one company code, even during initial stock creation no documents are generated.
The error is "Document number 49000000 in company code xyz and fiscal year 2008 has already been assigned."
How to go ahead?
Surya
Dear Surya
Go to T.Code OMBA, click on "Automatic Movements Document Type", again click on Position and type VL01N and execute. There check what document type is assigned there. It should have been "WL".
Now go to OBA7, select this document type and see what number range is maintained there for the field "Number range". Make a note of this and go to T.Code FBN1, input Company Code and click on "Intervals" (with pencil icon). There maintain the required number range. Ensure that for the year 2008, whatever you maintain under the tab "No.", should be assigned in OBA7 as stated above.
thanks

ps:- request to spell the name correctly !!!!!!
Dear Surya
Then definitely some settings would have been changed during that week, without knowing the impact. Check with all who got authorization to change IMG settings.
But again, I can tell you that the root cause of your issue is due to missing number range and the solution is what I suggested.
thanks
G. Lakshmipathi
