Hi Expert's,

i need the equal Hardware Configuration for bw server in windows.......

***BI Server configuration ( Unix Server )

SAP Net weaver 2004s with Oracle 10.2 with IBM AIX 5.3 configuration

System Model : IBM, 9110-51A

Processor Type : PowerPC_POWER5

Number of Processors : 2

Processor Clock Speed: 1898 MHz

CPU Type : 64-bit

Memory Size : 7936 MB

Hard Disk space required : 150 GB (Minimum only for installation net weaver

2004s)

i need the above hardware configuration in windows platform....

As the server used for Windows will have a different architecture than your AIX Server you can't do simple comparison, you'll need expert advice on how both servers compare benchmarking wise.

Thats my 2 cents.

thank you for the useful suggstion.. it means we can't covert unix server equvalent to windows....

can u provide me a sample server configuration for windows...

i can do something based on it....
