I created a transaction variant for VA01 for making the ship-to-party address in sales order header/partner tab display only while creating the order. When I am testing it through SHD0 transaction ship-to-party address is showing display only.But I am creating a order through VA01 transaction this ship-to-party adress is not showing display only it can be modified.Can anybody tell me why its happening?

Please also test to assign NO_VARIANT to the relevant order type via T-cd:VOV8

Assign the varinat to the order type in VOV8 transaction.

Have you activated the variant in SHD0?
