Hi,
We have to download 3 .sca files for check-in of dependences in CMS Track.
Those files are:
SAP_JTECHS.sca (Sp9)
SAP_BUILDT.sca (Sp9)
SAP-JEE.sca (Sp9)
We don't find the files.
Where can I download those files?
please provide me the links for downloading these in Service market place or else the Path.
Moreover i dont have an idea what sca files are needed for me to craete a web dynpro application.
It would be helpfull to me if you could provide me the sca files and the corresponding links or path for me to download in service Market place.
Best Regards.
Lokesh
Hi Lokesh,
These three SCA's are required if you want to develop Web Dynpro applications using NWDI. So you have to define these 3 SCA's for the central build. These SCA's you can download from the service market place, here the navigation:
1. Logon to service market place: http://service.sap.com
2. Click on Software Download under the SAP SUPPORT PROTAL section
3. Now you are logged on to Support portal>>downlaods>>SAP Software Distribution Center
4. From the left navigation Click on Downloads>>Support Packages and Patches>>Entry by Application Group
5. Now in detail page you see the list, there click on >>SAP NetWeaver
6. Again click on the top one SAP NETWEAVER
7. Now selelct the version of Netweaver you are on
8. If you on SAP NETWEAVER 7.0 Select this option.
9. Now click on Entry by Component
10.Selcet Development Infrastructure
11. Now select SAP JAVA TECH SERVICES 7.00, this display all available versions with latest SP's , choose the SP9 version in your case, select the check box and this will add to your downlaod box, from there you can right click and save to your local hard disk. please repeat step 11 for other two SCA's SAP J2EE ENGINE 7.00, DI BUILD TOOL 7.00
Please let me know if this is not clear.
Thanks
Krishna

Hi,
I had a small doubt.
In the field where it asks for Transport directory
whether i have to give C:/usr/sap/trans(I gave these)
But i placed the zip files in C:/usr/sap/trans/cms/inbox folder
Moreover another thing is can you explain how to deploy the sca files in SDM.
I logged into SDM through RemoteGUI
And i want to deployment tab and selected the zip files in the 2nd step it is asking for target.
Could you plz explain me about this process and guide me on this.
I went to market place and checked the SCA files but i got zip files.
I find .sda files in it.
Thanks & Regards,
Lokesh

HI,
Perform above steps to dwonload files.
but consider following
1. Do you you have a NWDI(7.0 version) or JDI(6.4 version).
2. if you want to do your development for WAS 7.0 the download the SCA files of 7.0 sp9 version.
3. if you want to do your development for WAS 6.4 then download the sca files of 6.4 sp 9 version.
