Hi All,

I am wondering if anybody has experienced following error with MDM IM batch interface (5.5 SP03).

Errors in IM Log file:

Converting values: 'STD_NO' field --> 'Standard No.' field.

Mapping values: 'STD_NO' field --> 'Standard No.' field.

Value '<NULL>' is automapped.

Converting values: 'TEL_NO' field --> 'Complete No.' field.

Converting values: 'TELEPHONE' field --> 'Telephone' field.

I have 100 Vendor records (XML file) extracted from R/3 4.6C.

First I tried to import data using Import Manager, and it ask me to map some fields and values, which I did, when it was ready to import records, I saved the mapping.

Using that same mapping, I tried to import same data file. First time, got following windows error,

"ImportManagerBatch.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Started Windows task manager to observe memory usage. Third time when tried the same batch command, it returned same windos error as above, and IM log had errors as mentioned above, but this IM imported all the 100 vendor records, with data for all the qualified lookup tables also.

Questions:

1. Why IM batch interface generates this Windows error?

2. Why IM batch interface imports data and throws error messages in log file?

3. What are the error codes, RC: 0x00000083, RC: 0x00000084 and RC: 0x00000085? Could not find it in RC.

Thanks,

A.

Hi Abhay,

It seems they fixed some of the bugs related to Import server and Import manager and Import manager batch in SP3 Patch 1.

Refere to Note# 919229.

Thanks
