Hello All,
I would like to know whether I can access BW in WebDynpro.
If yes, please help me understand the process.
<u>Requirement</u>:
I have a Bex query (<i>query created using BW WAD</i>) and I need to create a Web Dynpro application using this query.
Please help.
Awaiting Reply.
Thanks and Warm Regards,
Ritu
Hi Ritu,
You can use the BI Java SDK to access your BW queries from a WD application.
Using this SDK, you can run your queries from the WD application, retrieve all results and do all kinds of manipulations on these results before actually displaying them.
Search the SAP help portal for more on this SDK.

Satyajit.

If you mean just to display the query then a simple way to do this is to put an iFrame UI component in your WebDynpro app and supply it with the URL of your BW query.
I believe that from BEx you can choose to 'Preview Report', that'll give you the URL that you can use.

Patrick.
