Project not populating thru assembly processing

Hi Friends,

I have created Std. WBS and Std. network and one material .Now i assigned this material to WBS and network in CN08.

Now I created a sales order for above material.Afetr saving the sales order I am getting the no as 11456.

Now I am opening the project in cj20n with (E-1456) using last 4 digits of sales order.

But getting the message that project E-1456 does not exist. I think procedure is correct but still getting error.

I m using IDES.

Anu suggestions where I am wrong ?

Hi Friends,

All things are looking quite good.For material strategy group is 85 (even though I have checked with 83 also).And I removed the building block in VKM3 also.But still it is showing same error as Project does not exist.

Please look into this matter.

Did u entered delivery plant in sales order ? While creating sales order try by first entering delivery plant and then the sales material.

WBS is not coming in row.it is blank.

Again I entered the delivery plant and created the sales order but still facing same problem.

Pl make sure the following settings

In OVZG checck the req class 212 shuld hv n/w type as PS04

In OVZH the the req type KMPN shiuld be with req class 212

SPRO-Project system-Material-Control of Sales order related production-Selection req. thru MRP- Check Planning strategy--

strateg 85 shuld be with KMPN

I have checked and everything is fine as per you mentioned.But still not getting project.(same error project does not exist.

Any check/uncheck mark in above t codes .

In OVZG doble click on 212 req class : Confirm following

Reqmts class 212 Netplan/proj.settlmt

Availabilty Tick

Req transfer Tick

Assembly type 2

Special Stock E

Order Type PS04

Acct Assgt Cat. D

In OVZH

KMPN shuld attached to 212

In Strategy grp doublclick on strategy 85

to 85 planning strategy KMPN shuld be there.

In checking rule for that material put all no checks

ONE more thing, u will get the RESULT in CNS41.

u will find Project from sales order like CNS41, DB profile- tick selection criteria as sales doc.

value from sales doc will be planned revenue for corresponding WBS.

A Project is automatically generated from a sales order, when material in line item have been allocated in CN08, This determines which WBS structure is to be used as the basis for project creation, which has also been linked to a STD network, Bcoz SD/PS assign is ON i the STD PRJECT DEFINATION control data.

ON - A WBS leg is created for each sales order line item including similar Network.

In OPSA only one root must not be ticked.

Setting in Material Master.

Delivery Plant in SALES ORG VIEW 1

Item Category Group SALES ORG VIEW 2

MRP type: NO MRP indicator ND

Strategy group: 85

Individual /coll reqmt: left blank /1 individual reqmt.

MAETRIAL must be configurable.

CHECK all this seeting in your reqmt.

hi,

open ur sales order and check wheather ur wbs is coming.(wbs will be in same row of material)

if wbs is coming then try to open project by this wbs.

Please check your SD Configuration for

Document Type.

Item Categories.

Requirement Classes .212 check whether it is PP04

Rquirement Types.KMPN

In config for schedule line Categories, select Req/Assembly option.
