Dear Friends

I have a client requiurement , where user will decide the price value out of 4 values based on some external factors which are out of SAP application like loyality, bargain , and if returns back the old material , etc and he selects one price.

Let us say, a material price is around 100/200/300/400 and based on some external factors, he had to choose among these 4 values only, say suppose he decided 200 rs.

How to go about this requirement.Pls suggest.

Thanks & Regards

Mahendar

Dear Mahendar

In your pricing procedure, have the condition type PR00 as manual and input manually during sale order creation.

thanks

Dear Laxmipathi,

I should restrict the user for entering the values other than the four values....i mean that if suppose the price is rs 50, 100,150,200 and if user wants to go for price as rs 75 system should not allow , it should allow only any one of the 4 options..

Pls suggest

Mahendar.

You can creatively use material price group for this.

Create 4 material price group as 100/200/300/400

Now create your access sequence as material/Material price group.

Maintain condition records for this combination say

Material X Price group 100 - price 100

Material X Price group 200 - price 200 etc.

Now in the sales order at the item level in the sales B tab, you can manually choose the material price group of the material and the appropriate price would be selected.

This is a workaround to map this scenario. Though as others have suggested, Variant config would be an easier option.

hello, friend.

you want 4 prices for a material. this is possible. but could you give examples of the variables or options you are talking about? nevertheless, please read on and see if i understood you...

let us say you have customer A999, and you want to give him prices for material TS1001 for rs 50, 100, 150 and 200. which price you will give the customer depends on:

1. the quantity he will order

2. distribution channel (the same customer can be industrial buyer, end-user, retailer and wholesaler, which is why the customer has been extended to 4 distribution channels)

3. other external factors, maybe not quantifiable

all of these are possible when you are creating price condition records using VK11 or VK31. you have the following considerations...

1. you can use scales if price depends on quantity

2. you can use access sequence to specify price for material TS1001 by using combination of the keys customer, material and distribution channel

3. again, you can include keys in the access sequence (e.g. condition groups) and use this in VK11 or VK31; when you enter a value in condition, the system automatically selects the price.

note: if you do not wish to allow a price beyond these, you must set changes as 'D' (not possible to process manually) for condition type.

regards.

Maintain the external factors as Customer Group and maintain pricing based on Customer group. In Sales Order Transaction, it should be possible to maintain Customer Group at header level.

Hi,

what i understood from you scenario ........X is the Product and its have Prices X1/x2/x3/x4 Prices.....depends on your customer PO value you have to select the prices....

Better option is.........you can go with Variant configuration ......for Easy selection for the End-user ....There is no confusion even if you have 100 products.

X is the Character

X1-High PRICE

X2-BEST PRICE

X3-AVG

X4-LOW PRICE.

Hope you get rgt way..

This scenario is mapped as VARIANT CONFIGURATION in std SAP

In the variant configuration maintain only one characteristic maintain four values for that

SEARCH FORUM YOU WILL GET LOT OF INPUTS
