Dear Guys,

I ihave installed PI netweavers2004s version on windows 2003 server. My Data base is MSSQL2005. During the post installation i have to import the xi contents into the server. I have downloaded the xi contents and kept in the following path

E:\usr\sap\PIX\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import

when i called tcode SXMB_IFR , it has to go the portal

http://tuslexpix02:51000/rep/start/index.jsp

from here i need to do the import designs objects option. This option normally shows the xi contents(objects). But i am getting error no objects found.

Could you please some one help me to solve the issue.

I am waiting for your reply.

Hi,

What is the name of the file you copied in E:\usr\sap\PIX\SYS\global\xi\repository_server\import?

Hi,

I would like to know the exact file you copied.

I mean, Did you copy a xxxxx.zip file or a xxxxx.tpz file?

Hi Carlos,

i copied in the form of .zip file.

For exmaple BICONT35300_0-10003043.zip. Like that i have copied for all moduleus which are going to be used in my project.

I did not configured here download manager. But i have added all the packages in download manager screen. From there i selected right click and then save target into the Local system.

Hi,

You must unzip your .zip files.

Inside should there be a *.tpz file. This is the file you must copy to your local path.

Hope this helps you.

hello,

XI can only understand objects (design and configuration) only if it has the .tpz file extension.

Hi,

Once you import the objects then it is available for use. There is no need to import again and again. If you could let me know what are you trying to ask in more descriptive way, i will try to answer them
