Non-SAP user chooses WAS?

Hi everyone,

If you are not a SAP user are there reasons to choose for WAS as a platform to develop solutions?

Is WAS a free platform or does SAP only license it to SAP customers?

Welcome to SDN.

WAS is SAP's Propeitary.It is not a free platform.

You need to get it from SAP.

Its not a free platform, you need to buy it from SAP
