Hi, make sure your UME settings are correct in config tool:

Go to Cluster-data -> Global Server Configuration -> Services ->com.sap.security.core.ume.service and make sure the following are correct:

ume.r3.connection.master.ashost

ume.r3.connection.master.client

ume.r3.connection.master.user

ume.r3.connection.master.password

If you do update any of these parameters on j2ee, you will have to restart the j2ee cluster.

Hi sanjay,

where is ur UME set.

how many clients do u have

in which client do u log in into abap stack? IS that the client in UME.

IN VA u can login only with user id and pwd of ume client.

Please check that and revert back

Hi,

I think your secure store is not updated with the j2ee_admin password. Login into the config tool navigate to secure store then admin/password/<SID> here enter the new password. Restart the java stack and then login into visual admin.

Vamshi.

ok

u need to reset the pwd of J2ee_admin in 001 client and then try to login to VA with this userid

or u can also login to VA using any other user u have in client 001 if it has the auth...

Hi Sanjay,

Check that the role SAP_J2EE_ADMIN is assigned to the user J2EE_ADMIN.

Hi Sanjay,

Try comparing the role once.

Check the logfile existing under

<drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\DVEBMGSxx\j2ee\admin\log
