Hi,
YOu can see the Pipeline from transaction SXMB_ADM, one of the options is Pipeline.
But it just gives the details of the pipeline and not the step.
Ihe steps can be seen in the SXMB_MONI, if you go to any message and then go to trace inside, it gives the details of the steps the message has gone through.

You can the steps in SXMB_MONI
The pipeline steps are as follows:
a) Receiver Determination:
This step determines the system that participates in the exchange of the message.
b) Interface Determination:
For each receiver determine which interface will should receive the message.
c) Message Split:
If more than one receiver are found, XI will instantiate new message for each receiver.
d) Message Mapping:
Mapping to transform the source message to destination message format.
e) Technical Routing:
Bind a specific destination and protocol to the message.
f) Call outbound Adapter:
Send the transformed message to the adapter or a proxy.

Hi,
To view Pipe line execution steps(You should have access to SXMB_ADM:)
1.Go to SXMB_ADM.
2.select Display Pipeline defination option.
3.Select PipeLine Id as (SAP_CENTRAL).
4.Click on Pipelineelement tab.
Then u can see the pipe line steps exactly.

We can see pipeline steps in SXMB_MONI window. In this window message log contain pipeline all steps messages.

the pipeline steps are mainly checked by the BASIS people there should be authorizaton for SXMB_ADM
