Asset class copied but uselife has taken from old asset class

Hi Guru's,

I have copied the new asset class (i.e 101) from earlier asset class (i.e 100), but I have changed uselife from (i.e asset class 100) 40 years to (i.e asset class 101) 10 years. But while entering new asset with copied asset class (i.e 101) system is taking uselife from earlier asset class (i.e 100).

Please help me I have get the uselife from copied asset class (i.e 101).

Hi Mallikarjun,

Actually There is no problem with copying of asset class.

I thought u copied new asset master with reference of another asset in same asset class.

u have to change useful life in new asset master and copy the rest of the asset masters(with in the class)

with this asset then u find same useful life.

Hi Krishna,

Thanks for the reply, but I have copied only asset class not asset master. Even though the system is taking uselife of old asset class which attached with Dep. Areas.

Now I am find some thing new that....There are 3 Dep. Areas attached with asset class, but some time it is taking 1st Dep. Area & some time it is taking 2nd Dep. Area while viewing....

Hi

If ur maintaing asset class wise dep. then u have to change Useful life in OAYZ according to new asset master.

Actually there is no need to mention useful life in OAYZ.

Remove it or maintain as per classwise
