Shipment cost calculation logic.

Hi,

I have to maintain min charge for freight for particular weight & for further addition of every kg there will be increase of certain amount.How should i config this in shipment cost pricing procedure?

e.g. for first 1kg its 10Rs/- & then for further addition of 1 kg there will be increase of 2 Rs/- per kg.

for 1kg its 10/-

2 kg its 10+2.5=12.5/-

3 kg its 10+2.5*2=15/- & so on

But how can it done in a single condition type?

Client wants both in only one condition type ....

One solution is by maintaining fixed price say upto 5 kgs and then for additional kgs we maintain another condition type and calculate as total of these two conditions...

But requirement is as stated above...

Then you need to write "Alt cal type" routine in the shipment cost pricing procedure.

Hi,

While maintaining shipment condition record(TK11),inside you have scales as like pricing condition records.

It will fulfill your requirement.
