Measuiring Point long text - Any FM?????

Hi All,

Can anybody please tell which function module to use to get measuring point long text??

(IE02 -> give equipment -> 'Measuring points/counters tab' -> check the checkbox -> F5 -> Description)

I used read_text and gave the following parameters :

Object : IMPTT

ID : LTXT

Client : (Client number)

Language : EN

Name : Client concatenated with measuring point number

Please let me know if I am giving something wrong or if you know any other FM to retrieve it. I have doubt in Name field, what exactly should I give here, I do not know.

Got it! In the long text screen goto -> header. All parameters are there.

Hi,

Try with CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT for the Measuring Point.

Rest what you have used is perfect.
