High availability - Central Instance installation

Hi Experts,

I am doing High Availability Installation.I have installed SCS,DB in SAN Disk.

CI instance number : 03

SCS Instance number : 04

Message Server Port : 3904

If I try to install Central Instance (by pointing the profile of SCS

instance),Its giving the error message that the parameters

rdisp/msserv = 0

rdisp/msserv_internal = 39xx

where xx -denotes the free port number in the machine.

refer SAP Note : 821875.

I have set these parameters in the SCS Instance Profile file as

mentioned in the above SAP Note.

I have restarted the SCS and CI servers.

But still I am facing the same issue and I am not able to proceed with

the installation.

Please provide the solution for this to go-ahead with the installation.

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Hi Karthick,

You have not mentioned anything of ASCS? Have you installed it? As a part of HA, you need to install it first. The steps are

ASCS

SCS

DB

CI

Prashant,

I do have only JAVA Instance and there is no ABAP Instance.

So

only SCS,DB , CI and then DI is enough in my scenario.
