Hi,

There is one indicator for REM allowed in the material master MRP 4 view and one in the production version. Which one do we need to select for the materiual to be set up for repetitive manufacturing ?

Dear,

Yes you need to active both the indicators.

This is mandatory in REM manufacturing to have production version eevn if you are working with one BOM and one routing. This is one of Master data to with the combonation of cost collector and production version we will have RS header of the part.

Without production version MRP will not create RS type of planned orders and ultimately you will not able to carry production with planned orders (REM scenario).

In MRP4 view you must have to maintain REM allowed indicator with Rem profile and BOM selection criteria "selection by production version".

Production version in REM is the identifier for Capacity Planning, here we assign the production line and the capacity planning ID, also it is necessary to activate the REM indicator in the production version also.

Production version will also be the base when it comes to backflushing.

Hi,

If you want to use repetative manufacturing then you need to check both box i.e REM allowed on MRP IV view & in production version also.
