First logon to Netweaver portal

Hi all,

I am trying to logon to netweaver portal for the first time after installation. However, both sap* and administrator users are unable to login with the master password.

Can someone please recommend what user and password to use for the first logon to portal.

) Are you have dual stack installation? (ABAP+JAVA) ? If yes you need use j2ee_admin user account for first login in sap portal, the administrator for JAVA only installation ... SAP* are deactivated by default ....

Yes, it was a dual stake and j2ee_admin with master password logon is successful.

Hi,

Ttry changing password of sap* user and then log on to portal server. Then change the password of user Administrator.

Hopefully this'll help you.

sap* can logon but with message

"No portal roles are assigned for this user.If this problem persists, contact your system administrator".

What specific roles are required for sap* apart from sap_all profile.
