Here's my situation:
- latest version of Fedora Linux (10) is installed and fully patched
- latest SAP Java client (710r6) installed
- Java JRE 1.6 installed (Sun version)
- I installed libXp
I can fire up the client and run R/3 transactions just fine. I can even run most APO transactions just fine as well. However, when I try to run SDP94, I get an ABAP dump.
I have tried this with other flavors of Linux as well as the last 3 versions of the Java client and all seem to yield the same results. Is there another package that needs to be installed to make the planning book transactions function?
I can provide the dump if necessary, but seeing as it's huge and I can't attach files, I'm not sure what portion of it is most pertinent. It did list this as note search criteria:
"MESSAGE_TYPE_X" C |
"CL_GUI_CFW====================CP" or "CL_GUI_CFW====================CM002" |
| "FLUSH"
I suggest you to upgrade your GUI , as we had similar kind of issue and resolution was to upgrade the SAP GUI.

Additionally, this occurs for the Java client running on Apple's OS X (10.5) as well, so it doesn't appear to be a Linux issue, but rather an issue with the Java client and this specific transaction.
