SPAM/SAINT update questions.

Hello Der,

1.Can I Update SPAM/SAINT from Version 700/23 to 700/30 directly without applying the level 24 to 29.

2.Can I also Upgrade the Version to 710 if so How?

Hi,

Yes you can apply SPAM/SAINT PL30 without applying PL24-29.

In order to upgrade SPAM/SAINT to 710 you have to upgrade your kernel to patch level 710.

But keeping in mind you also have to upgrade you NetWeaver component to 710 if you change your kernel from 700 to 710.

Hi,

1. yes, we can directly upgrade to highest patch level for spam/saint version.

2.As per my knowledge it is not possible to upgrade from 700 to 710.

You can go to service market place > software downloads> entry by appl. groups -->

Support Packages and Patches" Additional Components" SAP SPAM/SAINT UPDATE

in the page that follows select the SPAM update for your Basis release.
