ESS benefits adjustment reasons

We are planning to use the standard ESS services for adjustment reasons where the employee gets to see the link to edit his/her benefits based on the adustment reasons on infotype 0378.

We have around 10 plus adjustment reasons in the backend, however we would like only couple of them enabled on ESS.

So far have not come across any config table where in we can set up adjustment reasons for ESS only. Looks like this might need some development work.

Just wanted to ask if anyone had similar requirement and is the development work right solution for this or is there any other solution?

Two ways of trying this out

Of course both of them are NOT the best way, but you can try it out.

1. from the ESS config, identify the service for the adjustment reasons and remove so that it is reflected only from the ESS side and not the ECC. however dunno, this might have some side effects.

2. from ESS package, if you have opened the code, identify the DC and do the code level hiding logic. if this reason. hide.. kind off.
