Period Posting - GL account determination

In 2007, you are able to assign a specific GL determination based on the "period selection". But how do you copy your GL account determination from 1 year to the other ? Do we have to retype them manualy?

Dear Sophie,

When you create a new posing period, all the settings in G/L Account

Determination will be copied from current posting period.

we can assume when you created posting period of 2008, you hadn't set

G/L

Account Determination in posting period 2007 yet. Meaning is that you

created first posting period 2007 and defined 2008. Afterwards, you

determined G/L accounts in the first posting period.

After that you set G/L Account Determination for current posting period

at that time ( e.g 1stJan, 2007 - 31stDec, 2008), this will not be

copied to other existing posting period.

If this is the case, you need to enter the account settings manually.
