ME31K - Change Plant on Item when Creating Contract as copy

Hi.

When creating contracts as copy, using transaction ME31K, we need to replace the plant on the Item of the contract by a new plant being created in the system. However, the field plant on the Item is not enabled for changes.

Does anybody know if there is a workaround to have this field opened, or even replaced when performing the copies?

I'm using ECC 6.0.

If 2 plants are using same contract then go for centrally agreed contract.

Hi,

If a contract is created for one plant and if this contract is used to copy for another contarct to create by adopting the detail , system will not allow you to replace the plant as a standard functionality.
