Retaining calculated values between report refreshes

Hi,

I am attempting to retain summarized values from previous executions of a report in Crystal XI. We are creating a trend report and would like to limit our new data set to one week and increase the performance of the report. Instead of reading all of the records for eight weeks or six months I would like to take the summarized total from last week and carry it forward to this week as week2. The value that was in week2 goes to week3 and so on. Any ideas?

Hi Lee,

In Crystal Reports you can't retain the previous values which are generated.

Insted you can create sql based on your week and retrive the information. In Add command you can write your sql.
