Closing open orders

Hi,

Can someone help explain the following?: If I click delivery complete on an item to close a PO, will the system try to reorder the material if qty is below safetystock? Does a the workorder have to be open?

hi,

If you have any more requirements even after clicking the del compleated indicator....and the stock is below the reorder point then the system will generate the PR or Planned order based on your requirement....

Hai

no need of new work order

Once you short close the po and the stock is below the reorder point then automatically the system raises another pr or planned order in MRP

yes the system will generate pr's if the stock is below the reorder point and if u short close the po with open qty.

if the old PO was received partially and has an open PO quantity, and you set a delivery complete indicator, then SAP will create a new requistion if the stock of this material is below reorder point.

For reorder point planning no open workorder is needed.
