WEBI List Of Value Error

I get this error message when i run the report out of webi. This does not happen always but once in a while it shows this error message. The messsage is

An internal error occurred while calling the 'retriveListOfValuesEx' API ( Error : WIS 30270)

Is there any reason why this is happening. The error message does not come always. It comes once in a while. The error pops when i retrieve the List of values.
