2LIS_12_VCITM vs. 2LIS_12_VCSCL extracting same number of deliveries?

Hello experts,

We are thinking of installing cube 0SD_C04, but one question has arised:

We know 2LIS_12_VCITM contains information at delivery item level, and 2LIS_12_VCSCL contains information at scheduled line level but do both infosources contain information for the same number of deliveries in R3? I mean if 2LIS_12_VCITM contains information about deliveries 01, 02 and 03, should also 2LIS_12_VCSCL contain information about the same delivery numbers? or is there a case where 2LIS_12_VCSCL only provides information about deliveries 01 and 02? why would not information about delivery 03 be provided?

Hi,

It will contain infornation about all the deliveries and will be more descriptive then 2LIS_12_VCITM.

Its just that it will contain schedule line information as well and not going to miss any records.

But still there could be cases where the deliveries do not have a schedule line yet and therefore this information may be present in the item extractor but not in the schedule line extractor.
