Forecast consumption using custom sales order types

Hi,

We are using only custom sales order types (Z*) and want to send these sales orders to APO through CIF into SNP and consume the forecast in category FA.

How do i do this?

Is it in Advanced Planning and Optimization>Product>Specify Requirements Strategies that I need to setup?

Do the custom sales order types when sent to APO still come under the category BM??

By default it goes to Category BM unless a new ATP category is maintained in R/3. Please look at the below thread.

You have to maintain the new categories in the category group

Yes it will come with Same category BM in APO unless you change it through user exit .

Consumption will be driven by Requirement class in R/3 and in APO by Requirement strategy :

Check :/SAPAPO/V_STRAT.

Make sure you have define correct category and CatGrp in the Rqmts Strategy .

As BM is part of CatGrp K01,
