Hi,
I have a requirement to be able to produce a fairly complex query but prefereably using infoset queires rather than a BW query.
Is it possible in the coding section of an infoset query to call function modules?
If so do they have to conform to a certain interface?
If this is not possible does anyone know of any internet sources of good coding examples?
The reason for the infoset query is that in CRM these can be used as Attribute Lists to build target groups in segmentation for marketing campaigns.
Many Thanks
David
you can put any code in the code section in infosets. So use FM call as needed

Rather than add new fields I want to add the data rows returned to the existing field in the query.
For example BUT000 is the table data I display in the results.
I want to call a FM to return extra BUT000 records.
When returned I need to add them to the output results of BUT000.
If I write:
select single *
into ls_but
from but000
where partner eq '0010001976'.
if sy-subrc eq 0.
APPEND ls_but to but000.
endif.
I get the syntax error ""BUT000" is not an internal table - the "OCCURS n" specification is missing"

David
