Holidays Not updated in Personnel Calender of employees

Hi Friends,

we have generated work schedule for this month including the changed Holiday Calendar and we have updated all the Work schedules

But the holiday is not showing in personnel calendar of the employee. Even if we are tried to mention as Absent it is not showing any error.

We have checked the reason and only for new employees it is happening

This problem is regarding Public Holidays only. I have checked all the Grouping but could not able to trace any reason.

Pls let me know where this problem is.

the groupings in V_001P_ALL and also V_503_ALL

and also check the day type how it is configured

Thanks for the response, hey this problem is happening for new employees only.

Do we need to assign any other infotypes related to Time management.

For rest of the old employees in same EE Subgrp ( Executive) there is no problem. Even when i try to give absent it is not allowing me saying it is a Holiday.

Pls advise..

first remove holiday from holiday calander then add it again, generate work schedule.

Thanks for responding, we have removed the holiday and generated the WSR and again we have included and generated wsr, still there is no change.

We have generated the report and checked for all the new employees and for some of the new employees it is showing holiday and for some it is not showing holiday in Personnel Calender.

I could not understand where this problem is coming.

This is happening for all the employee sub groups. who has newly joined.

But for strange reason some of the newly joined employees Holiday is showing in their Monthly Calender.

chk the religion in the holiday calendar and the emp religion in infotype 0002.

Make sure that the Personnel Subareas are assigned to the Public Holiday Calendar. Generate the Work Schedules manually again, in order to eliminate the possibility of error in this area.

In Infotype 0002 Religion is maintained for any employee, for those employees whose calender is displaying is dispalying correctly also they dont have any Religion Maintained in IT0002.

Groupings are correct, If there is problem in groupings then it should not work for all the employees who are there in Employee sub group.

Holidays which are mentioned as movable date this problem is occuring.

Hi,

From the above mail, what i understood is....... For which employees you have maintained the religion in infotype 0002, only for those emps holidays are displaying.........if it is so, system is showing correct.

Because you might have created the holidays with the same religion.

So try to give the religion for other emps also OR try to remove the religion in the holidays (If your client doesnot have religious specific holidays.....like Ramzan is applicable only for Muslims).

Check once weather your holiday assined to holiday calender or not. & type of holiday

check WSR weather ES groping & HC id both are in correct combination are not.

hiring date , holiday calender period check these also.

Check configuration for

holiday attributes:religion ,and holidays class

try to give a new public holiday calander ID and name

grouping for public holiday calendar

hoilday calendar ID in workschedule rule

holiday calendar in creating workschedule

In addition also see

Personnel subarea grouping to work schedule

and workschedule to daily work schedule

ESG grouping for public holiday calendar

holiday calendar ID in work schedule rule

Holiday calendar in creat work schedule

and most date while check all above configuration

Not sure , but may work.
