SLD configuration in installation of ECC 6.0 sr3

Hi All,

i m trying to install the ecc 6.0 and now i m on parameter of the connection of SLD step. could someone tell me which parameters are require in SLD mean SLD Gateway Host and instance Number etc..

Hi,

Did you configure SLD server in your system landscape before?

if answers is no then select no SLD and continue the installation.

Dear i am going to install the central intance with

. ABAP + JAVA

and usage type is:

. MI (mobile infrastructure)

select no SLD and continue the installation

if i select no SLD then may i get some problem in future?

Hi,

means there is no SLD server is existing so select configure local sld.

and continue installation.

we already selected Local SLD and installation of DEV system has completed with local SLD... but dear,,, i want to know abt the connection parameters of SLD....mean if i want to install system with

SLD Destination: Registar in existing central SLD (default)

then what parameter connection will be put in

SLD HTTP Host: devsap (system Name)
SLD HTTP Port:  50000
SLD Data Supplier User: default
Password:

Self-Registration of ABAP Engine in Central SLD

SLD Gateway Host: ???
SLD Gateway instance Number:???

i m confusing abt Gateway parameters.

HI,

Check following

SLD Gatway Host : <host name of J2EE server where sld server is configured>

SLD Gateway instance Number : port is 50000 + (instance number * 100)
