HI,

How to prevent duplication og customer being created again

say customer RAM is created -suppose if we try to create another customer RAM with same name & address -ERROR message must come it should not allow to save another customer being created.

Rite now system is giving warning message saying customer found -ADDRESS CHECK.But is is allowing to save the customer which should not happen.

No standard has not given the provision to change it to throw as a Error message. In fact, the Message No.F2145 for this is stored in Table T100C where you dont have the option to change it to "E".

No Standard SAP solution is available for the same. It may be possible through Custom Development, which should be triggered when the name of customer is entered or atleast when trying to save the customer.
