What if Parallel processing and scope planning was not defined in SPRO.

Dear Frndz,

Plz help me out with the impact in the system if I did not define parallel processing (OMIQ) and scope of planning in the spro settings.

It is not mandatory to define scope of planning. It defines to run MRP for,

1. Several plants

2. Single MRP area

3. Multiple MRP area

4. Plant with MRP area

If you have any requirement above, you need to define scope of planning.

Parallel processing:

It is used to increase the server performance while MRP run. System will use all servers parallely while MRP run. If you work with scope of planning, defining parellel processing in customizing is mandatory.
