Valuation area

Hi all,

In transaction code OMWD we have the following fields:

Val. area

company code

Company name

Chrt/Accts

Val. Grpg code

Within transaction OMWD I can only fill in Val. Grpg code and all the other fields are all greyed out which means these fields are maintained within another transaction.

Do you know in what transaction to maintain the Val. area?

Valuation Area is defined in

SPRO-> IMG-> Enterprise Structure-> Definition-> Logistics - General-> Define valuation level

After this once you create a plant & assign it to the Compnay code in Custiomizing the Valuation area & other details appear in transaction OMWD

Hi,

Go to SPRO > Enterprise Structure > Definition > Logistics - General > Define valuation level

This decides the valuation level and in turn valuation area.
