Reg substitute Cost center

Hi,

kindly help me to resolve the issue which m getting while posting payroll result to a/c.

The errors are:

""No substitute cost center maintainedNo substitute cost center maintained"

check with the controlling persons whether the substitution cost centre is maintained or not

check PCP0 and check where the error is comeing

Hi,

The errors / messages may be due to any one of the following reasons:

1. The employee may not have a cost center in his/her infotype 0001

2. Business area may be incorrectly entered in his/her infotype 0001

3. Incorrect account assignment for his/her EE subgroup in PPMOD feature

4. Consult with FI Team and ask them whether G/L Account are configured for accepting Cost assignments.

5.Check for substitute cost center configuration in IMG (in Payroll u2013 Posting to Accounting - Activities for AC System - Assign Substitute Cost Centers)

the employee data with infotype 0001 is not maintained with cost center..

is there any option for assigning cost center to employee master record?

Hi,

In general, we assign cost centers to positions (PP01 - A011 Relationship).

then that position is assigned to the personnel.

Do the cost center assignment at the first day of month if possible.

Hi,

You have got the answer. Either you can create relationship between Org Unit/ Position and Cost center and in account assignment Infotype you can assign Master cost center to Org unit/ position or you can assign a Cost center to Employee in IT0027.

we have to give cost centre relationshipe for position check PPo2 and u can give cost distribution in 00027

Also you can try to re-run the last Action which using copy mode to save IT0000 and IT0001.

the other error is

"Account assignment objects are incorrect. No substitution is possible".

Ive already maintained substitute cost center using

costcenter accounting->actual postings->define substitute cost centers for payroll.

But still Iam getting the two errors after posting..
