Hi all,
i want to create lots in my auctions.
looking for some information on help.sap.com, i found such words:
"Lotting
You can create lots to group related line items to structure complex auctions by first creating an outline. You create an outline by expanding the node adjacent to the Header Data tab and entering a description before selecting the Lot checkbox to enable lotting. You then add documents, including internal notes or a vendor text, to the outline before adding line items to the lot. You define item start price, reserve price, and bid decrement at the lot level and define reference price at the item level. To create multiple lots, repeat this process again. For more information, see Lotting."
but i wasn't able even to see such a chek-box anywhere!
please, if somebody had an experience of making lotting, help me.
thnx
Hi Artem!
You should switch on outline pushbutton in the left part of your screen during creating the bid. There you will see a chek-box

After some days of examining lotting and cascading auctions, i've faced some problems with understanding of few points:
Let's imagine such a situation: i have 3 requirements - a pen, a pencil and some paper.
So, i create an auction, but when i try to create lots i can't add that items, which i've chosen while creating auction in "Carry out sourcing"
what is the reason to choose in work area some requirements in "Carry out sourcing" if then i can't make lots from them?
also can't find any normal info on lotting...

Dinesh,
i've already read this information,
"You can create lots via the outline mechanism to group related line items in order to structure complex auctions. Lots give bidders the flexibility to distribute bid price among line items in the lot, thus promoting competitive bidding"
i realy need it, i go Carry Out Sourcing -> then add requirements to the Work Area -> for chosen requirements i push "Create Auction" button. Then i go to "Process Auction" where in Item Data tab i see requirements on which i was creating this auction.
Now i want to group some requirements. For example, i want 2 items to be in one lot, and 2 others - in the other lot.
For that purpose i go to Create Outline, enter the "Description of Outline" and click on lot check-box.
And now the problem - when i go to the item data i can't see my requiremets. i can add new items, but i do not need it, i need my on which the auction was created requirements to be grouped in two lots...
