Hi everybody,
My doubt is:
I have two Web Dynpro components and every one have a view, those views are join with the plugs because i want transfer data between those views.
This is my schema:
1.- First Web Dyn Pro Component -> "Search View"
2.- Second Web Dyn Pro Component -> "Modify View"
I can't transfer the search data to the "Modify view" even so have results in my "Search view".
i do the context mapping.
is necessary the two view are in the same Web Dyn Pro component?
note: Sorry my english is not very good.
Hi,
No, it is not necessary to have both the views in same component to transfer data, you can tranfer data between 2 components also.

Hi Martinez,
You can pass data from one view to another view in same component as well as different component. This (second case) be achieved by the concept called componentization.

Hi Eduardo,
It is not at all necessary to have all views in same component, it is just a little simpler if you have it that way.
You may have two components in same application and navigate along with data. Infact it is even possible to navigate between the components of two different applications.
Kindly go through the below link... it should be helpful for your scenario.
