Email Notifications Using Macro's

Hi Experts

What is the prerequesite for Sending email notifications using Macros in the APO DP & SNP, as we have the Document Function(Macro Element) in the Macro Builder.

In the "Document" attributes, you can find a few options, press F4 on Recipient to get the following options

You can also maintain the distribution lists using TCODE: SO15

Hi Sai,

Double click on Document Symbol, you will find the "Advance Macro:Attribute mail", Click on Planning Data attachment, so that PB data will get attached to Mail.

Enter the User name fixed sender, note that which is not email address.It`s just only a user name.

In Recipient you enter the user name of the Recipeint.

I think this will be helpful for you.

When I attach the PB data to the Mail, the file comes corrupted and it won't open. Would you know the reasoning for this??

Hi Sai,

We have created same macro for client requirement. Just check the following logic Take appropriate logic & apply.

Logic:

IF key figure 1 > ( 5% of Key figure 2 + Key figure 2) then system show warring Massage,Alert & send to Users.

IF key figure 1 > ( 10% of Key figure 2 + Key figure 2) then system show Error Massage,Alert & send to Users.

Macro:

Hi Sai.

Do you want to send the planning table or an alert?

The document function allows you to send the "as is" planning table to a recipient at the time the macro is run.

If the requirement is just to send an alert, then create a macro that generates the alert. Maintain an alert profile suitable for the recipient (/SAPAPO/AMON_SETTING), set the send of alerts (/SAPAPO/AMONMSG) and then run the sending of alerts (/SAPAPO/AMONMSG_SEND).
