what is visual administrator

wht is visual administrator, is it built with sdn , then how can i access it

Hi Naga,

Its not built with SDN . Its built with SAP J2EE Web Application Server.

(SDN is also running in J2EE WAS , so in one way we can say. ha ha.)

Its basically used to administrate the SAP J2EE WAS(Administration tool).

we can adimistrate SAP J2EE WAS in different ways.

this is one of the GUI tool used to administrate.

J2EE Engine Visual Administrator is a graphical user interface (GUI) that enables administration of the whole cluster, all cluster elements, and all modules running on them. It provides remote monitoring and management of managers, services, libraries, and interfaces working on each element in a single GUI.

Hai Kishor,

Thanks for your help, I tried to connect with was using visual admin

but its giving error like

Error while connecting

Cannot open connection on host: localhost and port: 50000

How can i encounter it

hi Naga ,

using which user u tried to login in the visual administrator?.

u have to login there with administrator.

which port u entered there?.

u have to enter 50004 , which is the admin port .

Hai Gopi,

I solved this problem by using the port number 50004, why is like that , i am running dispatcher using 50000 , wht is the difference between this two port numbers

Different services are running in different ports.
