period work schedule for workmens

hi all ,

I am working on TM and have a requirement that there are workmens in compony having 3 shifts 7 to 1 1 to 8 10 to 5.but for them sunday is not weekly off fixed .when they complete there any shift e.g. morning shift for 6 days then they get a weekly off.this goes on continuing for a month .which shift should be assigned to workmen that department head decides on 1 day of the month .please share ur ideas on this.how to create period work schedule for them? how to configure this in SAP .

Hi.. if you have MSS, you can allow the managers to assign the shift to the employee every month. There is an eye view for this. With regard to working on Sunday, you need to have substitution infotype to carry out that process. After this, query on the day type and create your accruals for the weekly offs.

thanks but we dont have MSS implemented.can we create seven workschedule monday to sunday as a holiday one after one ?but the shift schedule changes per month.

if ur going to follow the negitive time management

better to comfigure substitutions

say for example

if the workers did not take weekly off on which he has to take but taken on the working day after continuous work for fifteen days

than it might be a problem

check it once with ur cllient how the leave system has been carried over there

ya we r following negative time only but situation is like weekly off doesnt come on sunday it may come on any day as employee finishes her work for 6 days in morning shift a weekly off is due for her and it might be any day.

than carry with the same configuration of DWS there in calendar their will be weekly off as per the policy

but when the problem araises when an employee and employee finishes her work for 6 days and continues for another six days

than actually she has to take on leave but she take two leaves

so in 2001 in the PWS it will be working day for her

so try to create a substitute and when ever this kind of situation araises

the end user will updates infotype 2003

so we can change the work schedule of the employee

even i got the same scenario where employees will work in different shift

and manger will assign shifts, i have created 21 pws

how will and where manager will assign new shifts
