Overhead Cost

Dear Sap Gurus

I m unable to capture overhead cost like salary , wages etc..

in my cost run.

When I do ck11n my material cost and Activity cost is coming.

What configuration to do ?

Also from user end what all activity has to be done to get the overhead cost.

Plz help as i m stuck in my project.

Hi Tushar,

For calculating Overhead cost you need to do following things:

  • You have to maintain overhead percentage ( for both plan and actual) in Cost sheet using tcode KZS2

  • You should create overhead key using tcode OKOG and Overhead Group using Tcode OKZ2 and assign to each other with valuation area

  • Assign Overhead Group in Material Master MM02 in Costing 1 Tab

  • After doing confirmation of production or process order you have to run overhead calculation using tcode KGI2, so you can analyze plan and actual overhead cost.

I think this must solve your problem.

Sir,

After doing customisation, Still I need the overhead cost in Cost run.

As per ur saying confirmation of production comes after Cost Run.

Plz guide
