Dear sir,

please give me the solution on the following issue,

Account 4111100 requires an assignment to a CO object

Message no. KI235

Diagnosis

You have not defined a CO account assignment for an account that is relevant to cost accounting.

System Response

Account 4111100 is defined as a cost element.

This means that you must always specify a CO account assignment.

Procedure

Enter one of the following CO account assignments

Hi,

Use T.code:KA02 and enter G/L 4111100 ( by entering Controlling area) and in next screen

Enter Cost Object( Cost Center) in the Default Account assignment TAB and save.

Now try ur transaction

OR

Use T.code: OKB9 and assign G/L 4111100 to ur CO object( like Cost Center or sales Order or project) with your Company Code and save.

Dear,

Please check first the field status of the account in FS00. If this account requires CO object as mandatory then check whether a cost element is created or not , this error normally occurs when CO object is mandatory but relevant cost element is not created.

CO object can be - cost center, cost element, WBS element or so...

Look at transaction OKB9 where you can set the cost centre to post to.

Syed Hussain.
